Today I’m off to Canterbury on the annual family get-together.  I’m praying for good weather because it’s such a gorgeous location I can’t avoid doing a shoot there!  So for now I’ll leave you with my outfit that I wore on Wednesday for all the press day craziness!

A Day For Brogues

I bet you’re all shocked to see me in a pair of flats eh!  Well on occasion I do rock a pair of brogues, or trainers y’know.  Those occasions are rare but I thought I’d mix it up today.  The brogues are so cute and they’re from New Look, very inexpensive and so practical being patent.  I love the colour and knew they would go nicely with my new Topshop bag so here we go; a rather casual but autumnal look for today.

Jumper – H&M (Current).     Trousers – H&M (Current).   Hat – Primark (Current).
Bag – Topshop (Current).     Watch – Primark (Current).     Shoes – New Look (Current).
Necklace – C/O F&F (Current).

Sequin Kiss

Well I am utterly shattered!  Yesterday was such a busy day, but my god was it fun!  I spent the day with the gorgeous Marsha and Annie and we toddled off to River Island, New Look, Bank and QVC SS14 press days.  I can’t wait to show you all the pictures I snapped whilst out and about because there are some freakin’ awesome pieces coming out next season!  In the evening myself and Annie were taken out by The Communications Store PR team on behalf of Forever 21 (#ForeverHoliday) to….Winter Wonderland!  It was the best night, they took us ice skating which was ridiculously good fun, and not one of us bit the dust, whoop!  We were also treated to a ride on the giant ferris wheel, which in hindsight was a good idea, but when I got to the half way point going up, sheer panic took over!  You know when you buy furniture from Ikea?  Sometimes there’s a screw left over at the end and you think, ‘where does this even go? Ahhh well, we don’t need it’, well that’s what I wonder about when they put the rides together, what happens if they forgot a screw?  Just something to ponder over y’know.  Anywho, big thank you to The Comms Store guys and Forever 21 for such a lovely and unique blogger evening!

Jumper – H&M (Current).     Shirt – Zara (Old).     Culottes – H&M (Current).

Check, Out My Hat

Today I’ve got a few more press days and these are some of the last ones for this season.  The next big bench mark on the Fashion Calendar will be Fashion Week in February.  Outfit planning must commence immediately!  I’m hoping to make a few of my outfits so stay tuned for the progress on those 🙂
Today’s outfit is pretty casual.  I love these Dorothy Perkins trousers, they’re so easy to wear.  I added a cap just for a more urban twist on something that might look quite classic to begin with.
Oh and Dorothy Perkins currently have up to 30% off everything, yes everything on their site and in-store at the moment…check it out!

Blazer – Lanvin for H&M (Old).     Jumper – Primark (Current).
Shoes – KG By Kurt Geiger (Old).     Spike Necklace – New Look (Old).
Cross/Chains Necklace – New Look (Old).     Chunky Chain/Diamante Necklace – Primark (Old).

NEW IN – Shoes & Accessories

It’s been a great week for deliveries so far and we’re only on Tuesday!  I thought I’d just take a minute to show you some of the latest arrivals in the EJ.Style wardrobe.  So firstly I went to a JustFab event a couple of weeks back (post to come soon!) and we were given a voucher for a pair of shoes or bag off their site.  I found it difficult to pick just one pair because there were so many I’d fallen in love with but in the end I chose these ‘Cairo’ sandals (above).  Now I know you’re thinking why get a sandal in Winter?  But I’m obsessed with socks and sandals so that’s how I’ll be sporting these, they even look great with black opaque tights so that’s also an option, and obviously they’ll be ideal for the summer months too.  I’d really recommend visiting their site because I hadn’t entertained the idea of a subscription site before, but when I visited, the designs are really unique and the shoes, bags and accessories are bargains so my opinion has definitely been changed.  Check out the rest of my new items below…

Mini bejeweled satchel – ASOS

Graphic printed cut out shoes – ASOS

Vintage looking structures handbag – Forever 21

Gold slip-ons – ASOS

Motel Rocks Blogger Party

And the annual Motel Blogger Party rolls around again, this year hosted at INK in Leicester Square.  I absolutely love these kind of parties, it’s always just so lovely to get everyone together as we all have such busy schedules these days.  Upon entry and throughout the event we’re bombarded with alcoholic beverages and mini hot dogs, we all know how I feel about miniature food…I love it…it’s food…end of.  That said the hot dog and red lipstick situation proved a tad tricky but nonetheless it had to be done.  Motel showcased their Christmas festive collection which is full of twinkly dresses (just perf for part season!) and a mixture of prints, including my ‘Lilah’ Jumpsuit  (Worn on the night) but in red, and another version in the most gorgeous deep red floral print (Need it!!!).  Ladies from ‘The Illustrated Nail’ were on hand (pardon the pun!) to pimp up our nails with some cute nail art and there was what I can only describe as an ‘Instagram Machine’ that we were able to print out our best Insta’s of the night from, cool beans!  It was a lovely night and great to catch up with some of my best buddies, thanks Motel as always, loves ya!

My gals 🙂

We all love a glowstick!

Mel’s picked out her fave!

I was wearing…

Longing Leopard

I must give H&M a shout out for this amazing coat.  When I saw it in the store I had a feeling it would be expensive, but when I picked it up I was so surprised by the £49.99 price tag! Just under fifty quid for this coat is a real bargain.  It’s difficult for me to find longer coats because of my height so this is just perfect.  It’s also a more subtle way to wear the leopard print trend.  Thumbs up from me!  Well done and thanks H&M!
