White On White

Happy Friday!  I spent the day yesterday filming some beauty looks with my all time fave Barry M!  Their amazing make-up ambassador and MUA Adam Burrell created some gorgeous day to night looks using some new products which will be available in September and the ‘how to’ videos which we filmed yesterday will be on the Barry M YouTube channel and here on the blog for you to watch also in September.

Sorbet Surroundings

Yesterday I went and had a catch up with the lovely Charlotte and after a spot of impromptu shopping in Topshop (Ox St) we had a bit of lunch and went off to Portobello Road.  These houses give me fond memories of watching Mary Poppins as a little whipper snapper but now in this modern day they’ve been given a ice cream makeover.  There are rows and rows of these pastel coloured houses, they’re a bloggers dream and just another reason why this magnificent city has my heart.

The Unconventional

Well I launched my first YouTube Lookbook yesterday so I hope you’re all enjoying that.  I know there’s plenty of you that enjoy my outfit posts so here’s another one from the video.  I love the neon popsof colour on this Dorothy Perkins skirt, it’s a more fun, less conventional way to rock a floral print this season.

Hot In The City

I hope you all had an enjoyable Bank Holiday as miserable as the weather was.  This season one of the trends I’m loving is the longer length short, a Bermuda if you will.  I have a few shorts in this length but this is my first pair in denim as my others are more of a ‘city short’ so quite tailored and smart.  I love mixing casual ripped pieces like these with a well fitted blazer and jersey tee but of course, always with heels!

B+W

I realise that I’ve done an awful lot of monochrome over the last few weeks but it’s just such an easy look to do and despite it being Spring, it’s still works.  Today’s look is just lots of basic pieces which make a chic smart/casual outfit for daily wear.  I’d say something like today’s look would be somewhat of a uniform for me.  I’d normally wear some Converse but I got these cute River Island loafers last week and they just add a slightly less casual feel to the look.

Palms

Gosh this week is going quick, we’re on Thursday already!  My holiday is now oh so close, so in keeping with the holiday spirit I’ve added some rather tropical palm print to today’s attire.  In other news, I’m waiting in for a rather special delivery of some shiz hot shoes today (uber excited!) and then this evening I’m off to a Motel event with my blogger gal pals.

Happy

Happy April Fools day everyone.  I for one am avoiding Twitter all day day because every year without fail I get caught out by the April Fools jokes so I’m terrified to read anything today.  I’ll never forget the outrage I experienced when I thought John Galliano was actually going to be designing for George as Asda!
