Lace Love

Sorry for the lateness of today’s post but I was out shooting it in Knightsbridge this afternoon, yet again in the blistering London heat…hence the iced Starbucks in hand!  This lace bralet from Topshop had a lot of love on Instagram so I thought I’d use it in a post to show you how I would style it.  I do have a few other outfit ideas in mind with it and hopefully i’ll be able to don those before the summer is out!

Discovery

I‘ve made a new discovery in the land of denim, SOS Jeans!  It’s an Italian brand and recently I was gifted with these gorgeous pale grey floral skinnies from their SS14 collection.  They are, as the brands mission statement suggests, the perfect fit!  I love ankle grazers and these are the perfect length, they huge my legs without constricting them, and they have great, errrr, butt support 🙂  Along with a few patterned designs they also create classic styles, I’m in love with their ‘Light X-Fit Denim Okinawa’ jeans which like the ones in this post are ankle grazer, skinny leg, bottom lifter and low waist…..just perfect!

Hot In The City

I hope you all had an enjoyable Bank Holiday as miserable as the weather was.  This season one of the trends I’m loving is the longer length short, a Bermuda if you will.  I have a few shorts in this length but this is my first pair in denim as my others are more of a ‘city short’ so quite tailored and smart.  I love mixing casual ripped pieces like these with a well fitted blazer and jersey tee but of course, always with heels!

Botanical

Breaking News!  I have started the ‘Squat Challenge’!  Yes…me!  The weekend’s glorious news that I’m going on my first holiday in 5 years in May prompted me to start this famed Squat Challenge in an attempt to get my bikini body up to scratch.  Perhaps we might want to revisit this topic in say a couple of days and see if I’ve actually stuck to it (doubtful).  I’m also doing the sit up challenge and let me tell you, this exercise shizzle is no walk in the park.

Oh and yes I know it’s too cold for shorts but obviously my outfit posts are shot in advance and when I shot this it wasn’t anywhere as near as baltic as it is now.  Brrrrrrrr….It’s cold in here, there must be some Torros in the atmosphere….hands up if you remember that film #ClassicTeenyBopper
